Pluto Pillow Customer’s Q&A
Pluto Pillow FAQs
Plutopillow.com Return Policy?
Pluto Pillow offers a 125-night guarantee. If not satisfied after the initial break-in period (around 2 weeks), customers may reach out for a prepaid shipping label to return the pillow. Feedback is appreciated to help improve the product. This policy is limited to one Pluto Pillow, one PUFF, and one POD return per household per year (i.e. one product per category) and must be exercised no later than the 125th day following delivery of the product. Returns must be made using the original packaging.
For customers located in AK, HI, PR, Canada, or shipping from an APO address who want to return an order during the 125-night period, they should email to let the company know. Please note that for extended US, Canada, and APO orders, original shipping fees are non-refundable, and return costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Regarding the shipping policy, all orders are shipped via UPS out of the facility in Los Angeles, California. Customers will receive the pillow within 7 business days (unless stated otherwise)—most zip codes will receive their pillow much sooner. A shipment notification email with a tracking number is sent as soon as the pillow ships. Always free shipping and returns are offered in the US. However, shipping to Alaska, Hawaiʻi, Puerto Rico, and APO addresses incurs additional fees and may take longer.
About Plutopillow.com Popular Products and Services?
Plutopillow.com offers a range of products designed for sleep and comfort. The Pluto Pillow is a patented hybrid-design custom pillow, built just for the customer. It's crafted from a solid foam core, encased within an outer plush pillow. The core's height, properties (density, additives), all depend on the customer's answers to a questionnaire about their body stats, sleep habits, and preferences. The fibers in the outer cover vary in thickness and quantity from one pillow to another, also based on the customer's answers. If the customer tends to heat up at night, the pillow surface will be made up of cooling fibers. The materials can combine for over 35 variations through a patent pending process.
Another popular product is the Pluto PUFF, described as the galaxy's comfiest body pillow. Customers can also explore the Pluto POD, a travel pillow designed to ensure travelers arrive at their destination well-rested and energized. The website also offers bedding products, including silky, soft, crisp, and temperature-regulating pillowcases. All products come with a risk-free trial period and free shipping and returns in the US. The company's goal is to build the world's most loved sleep and comfort brand, starting with custom creating sleep pillows at scale. They infuse personalization, technology, design, and care across all the products and experiences they launch.
What are the materials used in Pluto Pillow?
The Pluto Pillow is a customizable foam pillow built from scratch for each customer. The pillow's thickness depends on the customer's survey results, but it will measure at least 1 inch thick. Each version of the pillow is constructed with a solid foam core and down alternative batting. The cover is composed of eucalyptus-derived Tencel fabric. The pillow may also contain a layer of down alternative batting between the foam and cover to provide extra cushioning. The core is made up of CertiPUR-US certified poly foam, which means it’s free of harmful chemicals like PBDEs, TDCPP, or TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, formaldehyde, and phthalates. The outer, plush layer is constructed of silky polyfill fibers that are ultra-thin and hypoallergenic. Specific designs for the pillow vary by customer, but all follow the same general construction. Sizes, loft ranges, and materials are outlined in the table below.
